Getting the Most out of the Blog Channels

The Problem:Getting the Most out of the Blog Channels

New sites can be like building IKEA furniture: exciting, but a little overwhelming.  How do the blog channels work and what can I do?

The Solution:

We’re going to provide you with clear instructions you can actually read…and that don’t require an Allen wrench.

Try it yourself:

Step 1. Check up on

  • Keep an eye on what your fellow Catalysts are saying… The blog channels, Flyceum and BenchLife, each focus on a distinct theme in order to provide support for more than just your experiments.  You can read about each channel by linking to it from the homepage or from the Blog tab.

Step 2. Comment

  • Undoubtedly, your own personal experience in and out of the lab has influenced the way you see an issue.  Set up an IntenseDebate account and let your voice be heard.  The more you contribute to the discussions,User performance the higher your reputation score (Figure 1).  Post a new comment or reply specifically to a previous one.

Step 3. Contribute

  • Have an idea, question or theory you’d like to try out?  We’d love to hear from you!  Contact us at [email protected] about submitting a post.

No blisters, missing screws or profanity-laced tirades.
